PingSchool
Applies to the PingSchool Android app, published by Yummy Systems LLC.
PingSchool works without an account, so most people never have one. If you did sign in with Google, this page explains how to delete that account and everything stored with it.
This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.
Tap Settings in the bottom bar, then scroll to Account.
You will be shown exactly what is deleted and what is kept, including what happens to a shared household if you are in one.
Type DELETE to confirm. You can also tick a box to erase everything on the
phone itself at the same time.
If you have lost access to the device, email hello@pingschool.com from the address you signed in with, and ask for your account to be deleted. We will confirm within seven days and delete it within thirty.
We can only act on a request from the signed-in address, because that is the only way to know the request is yours.
Your email is not involved. PingSchool never receives, stores, or relays your mail, and your email password or API key never leaves your device. There is nothing of that kind for us to delete, and deleting your PingSchool account has no effect on your Gmail, Outlook, or any other mail account.
Deletion is immediate when done in the app. Data removed from our database may persist in routine backups for up to 30 days, after which it is gone. We keep nothing after that, and we do not retain a copy for analytics or any other purpose.
Email hello@pingschool.com. The full detail of what is stored and why is in the privacy policy.
